Niyor for Windows

Where conversations become understanding

The Windows app does the deeper work: it transforms original recordings into structured personal memories and lets you explore the documented perspective through local AI.

Start with voices, not a form

A useful personality archive begins with real conversation. Record a reflection on your PC or bring original audio from your Android phone. There is no need to rewrite a parent’s story as a survey response or decide which details matter in advance.

Turn speech into material you can revisit

Niyor for Windows performs transcription locally and works to associate words with the correct speaker. It then identifies experiences, advice, perspectives, memories, and values in the conversations you choose to process.

Let understanding mature across recordings

A memory model is more than one transcript. Deepen Memories helps connect information from separate conversations. Sharpen Memories can update earlier analysis when a better local processing model is available.

Discuss ideas with a grounded local AI

Ask lets you explore the documented perspective in first person, drawing on what Niyor has learned from the archived recordings. You might explore how a parent reasoned about risk, revisit the advice you gave yourself, or connect lessons from different stages of life.

Use your own PC for the heavy work

Windows gives Niyor access to stronger CPUs and, when available, GPUs for local transcription and AI interaction. A dedicated GPU can speed up some tasks but is not required. Your audio and derived personality information need not be sent to a cloud AI service to answer questions.

Niyor for Android

Capture today. Understand more tomorrow.

Your phone is the convenient place to record stories and reflections. It also offers prompts, on-device personality insights, and an easy connection to Niyor on Windows.

Find an opening worth talking about

You do not need to sit someone down for a formal life interview. Niyor for Android offers conversation topics and prompts that can make it easier to ask the question you have been postponing.

Capture the real voice of the moment

Use your phone to record the conversation naturally. Original audio preserves pauses, inflection and phrasing that a typed note often misses. You can record a longer story or a short reflection without first organizing it into categories.

See the first outlines of personality

The Android experience offers lightweight, on-device personality progress rather than Windows’ full memory processing. Its personality visualizations and evolving Spirit Animal are designed to make reflection engaging as recordings accumulate, not to diagnose a person.

Connect your phone and let Niyor sync

Connect your Android phone to your Windows PC with the same kind of USB cable you use for charging. Allow file transfer if Android asks. Niyor Desktop automatically syncs new recordings, processes the original audio locally, and sends updated understanding back to the Android app. No manual copying or cloud relay is needed.

Private AI memory

A memory you can return to, without handing it away

A voice recording is only the starting point. Niyor can connect details from separate conversations so they can become something more useful than a collection of audio files.

Record first. Find it later

Most personal memories do not begin as neat notes. They begin as conversations, stories, small observations, advice, jokes, and details that are easy to forget.

Niyor is designed around that reality. You can capture those conversations as recordings, process them locally, and build a searchable memory over time instead of trying to organize everything before you start.

What makes the memory private?

Your recordings, transcripts, structured memories, and persona data are processed locally on your device. Niyor does not require your personal memory archive to be sent to a cloud AI service in order to work.

That matters when the material is personal: family conversations, private reflections, values, life stories, or advice you may not want sitting in somebody else's AI account.

Ask what you actually want to know

On Niyor Desktop, the Ask experience lets you query what has been learned from the recordings you have added. You might ask what someone thought about a choice, what advice they gave on a topic, or what stories they have told before.

The goal is not to create a generic chatbot. The useful part is that answers are grounded in the memories and patterns you chose to preserve.

Use it for yourself or someone close to you

Some people use Niyor to capture their own thinking. Others use it with a partner, parent, grandparent, or another person whose stories and perspective they want to keep.

The same system can grow slowly. A few recordings create the first outline. More conversations add context, recurring themes, preferences, and the little details that make a memory feel personal.

Digital personality

A model grounded in real life

The goal is to build a documented perspective from someone’s own voice, memories, choices and values—not to invent a generic chatbot personality.

What does digital persona mean?

In Niyor, a digital persona is a structured picture of a person built from their own recorded conversations. It can include memories, recurring values, preferences, relationships, stories, advice, and characteristic ways of expressing an idea.

The point is not to claim a perfect copy of a human being. It is to preserve enough real context that future questions can be answered from something more personal than generic internet knowledge.

Built from real conversations

Niyor does not ask you to fill out a giant personality form before it becomes useful. You can talk naturally about childhood, work, family, food, difficult choices, things you care about, or whatever comes up.

Over time, those conversations create a more complete picture. The persona becomes useful because the source material is yours, not because the system invents a personality for you.

Memory and personality belong together

A preference without context can be shallow. A memory often explains why that preference exists. Likewise, a story can reveal values, relationships, humor, or the way someone makes decisions.

Niyor connects those pieces so a persona can reflect both what happened and how the person tends to think about it.

Useful before it is complete

There is no moment when a person has been fully captured. Niyor is designed to improve incrementally. Thirty minutes of conversation can establish an outline; more recordings add depth, exceptions, nuance, and familiar patterns.

That makes the process practical. You can start small and let the persona become richer as real life produces more things worth recording.

Family stories

Keep the small details that make someone familiar

Sometimes the stories that matter most are told in passing. Preserving the voice as well as the content makes those moments easier to revisit.

Start with conversation, not a questionnaire

You do not need to sit someone down for a formal memoir interview. Niyor works well with ordinary conversation. Ask about a memory, let the story wander, and keep the parts that matter.

That makes it easier to build a record of someone over time rather than trying to capture an entire life story in one session.

Keep the voice as well as the facts

A transcript can preserve what was said. A recording also preserves how it was said: pauses, laughter, emphasis, familiar expressions, and the rhythm of a story you may have heard many times before.

Niyor keeps the original recording as the source, while local processing can make the content easier to revisit later.

Preserve values, not just events

Family history is more than dates and places. It includes why someone made a decision, what they admired, what they worried about, what they believed was worth doing, and the advice they would give again today.

Those patterns are what allow Niyor to build a richer picture than a folder full of audio files.

Capture on Android, revisit on Desktop

The Android companion makes it easy to record when a story naturally comes up. When you connect your phone to your Windows PC by USB, Niyor Desktop automatically syncs new recordings for deeper local transcription, memory building, and querying. It also sends updated understanding back to the Android app.

That means the person telling the story does not need to learn a complicated system. They can simply talk.

On-device AI

Personal by design. Local by default.

Running AI on your own devices makes a difference when the source material includes personal conversations, reflections and family history.

What is on-device AI?

On-device AI means the models doing the work run on your phone or computer rather than requiring a remote AI service for every personal task.

For Niyor, that local approach is especially important because the source material can include private conversations, family stories, reflections, relationships, and values.

What Niyor processes locally

On Niyor Desktop, local models can transcribe recordings, identify speakers, extract structured memories, create embeddings for retrieval, and generate answers from the persona's stored context.

The Android companion focuses on reliable capture and a lightweight personality and progress experience. Original recordings can be moved to Desktop for stronger local reprocessing.

Local AI has tradeoffs

Running models on a consumer device can be slower than calling a large cloud system, and the experience depends on the hardware available. Niyor intentionally accepts that tradeoff where it helps keep the personal archive under your control.

The product is being designed around consumer Windows PCs rather than assuming a data-center GPU is always available.

Private does not mean isolated

You can still choose to move recordings between your own devices, export material, or use operating-system services such as app installation and updates. The important distinction is that Niyor does not require your personal memory content to become a centralized cloud profile in order to be useful.
