Private AI memory

A private memory you can talk to

Niyor turns real conversations into a private, growing memory you can come back to later. Record naturally, let the app build structure on your own device, then ask questions when you want to remember what was said, what mattered, or why a decision was made.

Record first. Find it later.

Most personal memories do not begin as neat notes. They begin as conversations, stories, small observations, advice, jokes, and details that are easy to forget.

Niyor is designed around that reality. You can capture those conversations as recordings, process them locally, and build a searchable memory over time instead of trying to organize everything before you start.

What makes the memory private?

Your recordings, transcripts, structured memories, and persona data are processed locally on your device. Niyor does not require your personal memory archive to be sent to a cloud AI service in order to work.

That matters when the material is personal: family conversations, private reflections, values, life stories, or advice you may not want sitting in somebody else's AI account.

Ask what you actually want to know

On Niyor Desktop, the Ask experience lets you query what has been learned from the recordings you have added. You might ask what someone thought about a choice, what advice they gave on a topic, or what stories they have told before.

The goal is not to create a generic chatbot. The useful part is that answers are grounded in the memories and patterns you chose to preserve.

Use it for yourself or someone close to you

Some people use Niyor to capture their own thinking. Others use it with a partner, parent, grandparent, or another person whose stories and perspective they want to keep.

The same system can grow slowly. A few recordings create the first outline. More conversations add context, recurring themes, preferences, and the little details that make a memory feel personal.

Android for capture, Windows for deeper processing

The Android companion is deliberately simple: it is there to make recording easy when a story or thought comes up. The original recordings can then be brought to Niyor Desktop, where stronger local models can process them in more depth.

That split keeps capture lightweight without giving up the privacy or richer memory work available on a PC.

Common questions

Can Niyor record memories privately?

Yes. Niyor is designed so personal recordings and the memory information derived from them can be processed and stored locally on your device.

Can I search or query old recordings?

On Niyor Desktop, recordings are turned into structured memories that can be queried through Ask. You do not have to remember the exact file or transcript first.

Does Niyor upload my recordings to a cloud AI service?

Niyor's personal memory processing is designed to run locally. Your recordings do not need to be sent to a Niyor cloud model for transcription, memory extraction, or persona use.

Is this only for family memories?

No. You can build a memory for yourself, a partner, a parent, or another person you care about. Family stories are one common use case, not the only one.
